Capturing Your Life Stories

Crown Point opened in 1918 as a rest stop for travelers,
driving west on the Columbia River Highway, to refresh
before arriving in Portland Oregon.

Consider taking a moment to refresh, reflect and
save your best life stories and life lessons for your family.

There was never yet an uninteresting life. Such a thing is an impossibility.
Inside of the dullest exteriors there is a drama, a comedy, and a tragedy.”

COVID-19's shelter-in-place order gave us a moment to reflect on what we have created in our life journeys.
I decided to tackle a project I had dreamed of doing since 1980: the story of my great-grandfather, Emil Schacht.

Contact me at [email protected] if you have one of his residences or buildings and haven't been receiving my newsletters.
I have been working on this project since 2021 and am now ready to proceed to the publishing phase of the project. I have been working to make it as complete as possible.
