Every project is unique. I worked with my clients to compile their stories into a package that suited their needs. Many personal historians in https://personalhistoriansnw.com/ will be happy to provide a book for you. You will meet and go over the scope of the project. They will create an estimate for your review. If you are ready to get started, a contract is signed, and with a down payment made, the fun begins!

SpringMemories – capture those favorite moments of your early life in a small book. If you have pictures that help tell the story, they would be a great addition. This will be fun to share with the younger members of the family, as well as keeping your childhood fresh in your own mind whenever you want to look through it.

SummerTalk about five generations of your family – your grandparents, parents, yourself, children, and grandchildren. FallOverview of your life – this would be a retrospective of the important events in your life that you would like your family to know about you and others in your family. This will be a compilation of the stories that come easily to mind and will include your favorite pictures. This is truly a wonderful gift for the family to get to know you better and for you to better understand your past and your journey.

WinterLegacy Letter – This can be a brief page or two manuscript where you share the most important lessons you’ve learned in your lifetime that you want to pass on. It is a way to share your values, life lessons, hopes and dreams. While it is not a legal document, it could be the most precious gift you leave behind for those following to treasure.

KEEP IN MIND...
The more prepared you are about what you want to share the less expensive the cost. The addition of genealogy, and more photos increases the time and cost to complete the project. Whatever size project you want and how much you want the personal historian to do in the preparatory process, they will be happy to work with you. We all enjoy walking people through the process and sharing the satisfaction of completion with them!
